Nov 30, 2001 Glenn Keith 'Rocky' Lane DARLINGTON -- Glenn Keith "Rocky" Lane, 80, of 248 Woods St., Darlington died Wednesday, November 28, 2001 at his residence after an illness. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2001 at 2 PM in the chapel of Kistler-Hardee Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Darlington Memory Garden. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 30 from 6 to 8 PM. Mr. Lane was born in Florence County, a son of the late Belton O'Neal Annis Parnell Lane. He served in the US Navy during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. Mr. Lane was a charter member of the Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church. After 36 years of service, he retired from James Rivers and enjoyed woodworking, refinishing furniture and gardening. Survivors include his wife, Doris T. Lane of the home, one son; Glenn Belton (Kristina) Lane of Darlington, and one daughter; Anice (Richard) Etz of St. Louis, Mo. Memorials may be made to the Hospice of the Pee Dee, 555 E.
