In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Humane SPCA, 121 Humane Lane, Columbia, SC 29209. Visitation will be from 6-8 this evening at Dunbar Funeral Home, Gervais Street Chapel. Mrs. Brown, widow of Robert Lacy Brown, died Tuesday, November 27, 2001. Born in Bladen County, N.C., she was a daughter of the late William Arthur Burney and Alice Virginia Watson Burney. She retired from the VA Hospital and was a member of Shandon Baptist Church. Surviving are daughters, Margaret Cleary of Savannah, Virginia Reynolds of Prescott, Ariz., Dorothy Kaiaokamalie of Columbia; 13 grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren.
