Nov 16, 2001 Miriam Calcutt Lawrimore HEMINGWAY -- Miriam Calcutt Lawrimore, 79, wife of Fred B. Lawrimore, died Friday Nov. 16, 2001 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Mrs. Lawrimore was born in Pamplico, SC, a daugher of the late Boyd E. Calcutt and the late Bertha Hanna Calcutt. She was a homemaker a member of the Hemingway First Baptist Church, Sara Eaddy's Sunday School Class, Sec. and Treasurer of the First Baptist Church Prayer Group, a member of the Muddy Creek Homemakers Club and was a graduate of Hannah High School. Surviving are her husband, Fred B. Lawrimore of the home; two sons, Ronald (Mary Ellen) Lawrimore and Milton (Kathy) Lawrimore both of Hemingway; daughter Linda (Sherrell) Cox of Hemingway; brother, Coolidge Calcutt of Lake City, SC; five sisters, Elise Lawrimore of Hemingway; Myrtice Humphries of Lake City, Myrtle Moore of Turbeville, SC, Shirley Poston and Nora Bazen both of Pamplico, SC; 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Lawrimore was predeceased by a daughter, Dorothy Lynell Lawrimore. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday in the Hemingway First Baptist Church. Burial, directed by Morris Funeral Home of Hemingway, will be in the Lawrimore Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 PM Saturday.
