    1. [SCMARION-L] Vivian Wright m. _____McAlister in Laurinburg, NC circa 1940s
    2. Bill Vincent
    3. Bill Snipes, All my McAlister family were gone from NC by 1862, so he wouldn't likely be in my line unless it was Gilbert McAlister's family who were still living near Tatum, in Marlboro Co., SC after 1905 at least. If you had his first name I may be able to help. For security reasons the Clan McAlister of America keep all data on McAlisters who were born after 1900 confidential, so no help there. Their marriage license should be available from the NC State Archives in Raleigh. I searched the Social Security Death Index and found a Vivian McAlister with SS #566-30-4016 whose last address was 95966 Oroville, Bute, California. She was born 25 Jun 1925 and died 21 Jan 1989 so she seems the likely candidate for being your Vivian Wright. The following is a letter form for getting a copy of her SS application which has a lot of information that should help. 1. [SCMARION-L] McAlisters - T. J. and/or Wm. J.
    2. Donali Howell
    3. Would any of you McAlister researchers happen to have a T.J. (Thomas Jefferson I think) b.c. 1836, wife Martha E., b.c. 1839 and/or a William J., also b.c. 1836, with wife Mary, b.c. 1840? They were in Williamsburg County, Lee Township, in the 1870 census, but if my speculations are correct, there were Marion County ties. Thanks! Donali
