Evelyn Stanley Evelyn Stanley, 64, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2001 at Marion County Medical Center after an illness. She was born in the Causey section of Horry County, a daughter of James Alton and Retha Bell Sanderson Bullard. She co-owned Stanley's Grocery in Nichols with her late husband, J.M. Stanley Jr., from 1972 to 1992. She retired from working as a cosmetologist in Greensboro, N.C. She was a member of the Fair Bluff Church of God. Survivors include a daughter, Kathy S. Floyd and her husband, Johnny, of Nichols; five brothers, Henry Bullard of Rock Hill, James Bullard of Fair Bluff, Jimmy Bullard of Mullins, Richard Bullard of Nichols and Joe Bullard of Loris; and two grandchildren, Ashleigh Blair Jackson and Tyler Blake Jackson of Nichols. She was predeceased by a brother, George Bullard. Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. today at the home of Kathy Floyd on Old Stage Road in the Wannamaker Community in Nichols. A graveside service will be at 12 p.m. Saturday in Riverside Cemetery in Nichols. The Rev. Richard Bullard will officiate.
