Audrey, In Williamsburg County probate records there is a Margaret HAMBLETON who died 1816. In her will, the names Hamilton and Hambleton are used seemingly interchangably, but she mentions her: daughter Susan, living with Mr. James McConnell sister Jane Cockfield (** this is the line I'm descended from) sister Sarah McCants sister Martha Hambleton sister Elenor Flynn brother Robert Hamilton (his daughter Mary Matthews) brother William Hamilton (his sons John & William) brother John Hamilton (deceased) uncle Abraham Matthews I don't know who the parents of these siblings were, or where they came from. Do they look like any of yours?
