Thanks Jo for all the info you've posted concerning where all the families had property. It helps clear up a lot of questions . But I still am fuzzy as to how all the Elvingtons are related. As I understand there are 2 separate Elvington lines (at least) in Dillon Co area . One in Kemper and the other closer to Lake View / Bear Swamp . Percy Price married Wm Barfield , she was dau/of James Price. That would put her near the Jesse E. clan. Her sister Evalina Price married Levi Elvington , but I don't know his relationship to Jesse or John E. looking at the census data and where they're buried I would guess they lived in the Kemper area. The Kemper clan of Elvingtons were from the John E. line , so that makes me think Levi may be kin to the John E. line . also Levi's son married Fronie Price , a neice of Evalina Price . Is ther someone who has researched the Elvingtons and can connect Alfred ,Hugh , John , Jesse , George and Zadoc in the 1850-1900 time zone . I see them in the census data but it escapes me how they may be kin , most of them look like they may be in the Kemper general area. This isn't a main line of my family tree but it intrigues me how all these families intertwine . I'm open to any and all ideas. Thanks again , Al Munden
