The State (Columbia): Tuesday, November 27, 2001 Jim Quick BENNETTSVILLE -- Services to celebrate the life of Jim Carroll Quick, 79, will be conducted at 4 p.m. today, November 27, 2001, at Ebenezer United Methodist Church with burial following in the church cemetery. Norton Funeral Home of Cheraw is in charge. Mr. Quick died Sunday, November 25, 2001, at his residence. Born in Marlboro Co., January 29, 1921, he was a son of William Shuford Quick Sr. and Dessie Chavis Quick. He was a machine operator with Essex Wire Company and a member of Ebenezer United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, Earline Powers Quick; brothers, W.S. Quick, Frank Quick, Donald Lee Quick, all of Bennettsville; sisters, Esther Mae Quick of Bennettsville, Pauline Smith of Society Hill, Irene Wallace of McDowell, Ga.
