The Sun News GREENVILLE Rupert R. Elliott Rupert Randolph Elliott, 65, of Eastcliffe Way and husband of Eva Jean Rabon Elliott, died Monday, July 9, 2001, at home. He was born in Horry County, a son of the late Samuel Mayberry Elliott and Dollie Ganis Elliott. He was a graduate of Limestone College and retired from Sherman Construction Co. He was a member of the Southern Textile Basketball Association. He was a member of Berea First Baptist Church and the Doug Moody Sunday School Class. He was also a former deacon. Survivors include his wife; a son, Rupert Randolph "Randy" Elliott Jr. and his wife, Robin, of Greenville; a sister, Bonnie Little of Nichols; a brother, Donald Elliott of Myrtle Beach; a granddaughter, Michelle Elliott; and a grandson, Taylor Elliott. He was predeceased by two brothers, Clarence Elliott and Carlisle Elliott. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest in Greenville. The body will lie in state from noon to 2 p.m. Wednesday at Berea First Baptist Church. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Berea First Baptist Church. The Revs. Ronald D. Vaughan and Marshall Sargent will officiate. Entombment will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
