David C. Snipes LAURINBURG -- David Collin ''Sonny'' Snipes, 67, of Laurinburg, died Sunday in Scotland Memorial Hospital. Mr. Snipes was a former salesman for Heilig-Meyers Furniture Co. He was a member of East Laurinburg Baptist Church. The funeral will be conducted at 4 p.m. Tuesday in East Laurinburg Baptist Church by the Rev. Richard Tyson. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery. Mr. Snipes is survived by his wife, Renee Snipes of the home; two sons, David Snipes and James Snipes, both of Laurinburg; two daughters, Susan S. Sager of Wilmington and Angela S. Batten of Laurinburg; a brother, Larry Snipes of Hamlet; a sister, Dianne Brown of Raeford; and four grandchildren.
