Franklin Billy Heniford Franklin, 65, of the Live Oak community, died Thursday, July 26, 2001, at home after a sudden illness. He was born Feb. 21, 1936, in Dillon, a son of the late Curtis Milledge Franklin and Jerome "June" Heniford Franklin. He was the husband of Kitty Franklin of Loris. Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Jamie Franklin and Tammy F. Holt and her husband, Dale, all of Loris; a brother, Ronnie E. Franklin of Loris; and two grandsons, Logan Holt and Trace Holt, both of Loris. Visitation was Friday at Hardwick Funeral Home in Loris. The funeral will be at 5 p.m. today at Loris First Baptist Church. The Revs. Drew Jackson and Clyde Johnson. Entombment will be in Twin City Mausoleum.
