Peggy and other List Members, What Peggy describes here is a virus/worm named "SirCam" that is making the rounds with lightning speed and it's doing so because the virus uses your email address to send out one of your files, located in your "My Documents" directory, to any email address it finds in your personal Address Book as well as email addresses found in your Temporary Internet files folder. This means that the virus/email will be send to folks you know, have corresponded with, but also to folks who have their email address on a web page. (Guess who's received a bushel of these so far. <G>) DO NOT CLICK ON THE ATTACHMENT no matter what it's named or who the email is from, it will infect your PC. If you received the email but didn't open the attachment (like Peggy), no problem. Just delete the email and empty the Trash. If you opened the attachment, however, you've now got the virus and will need to get assistance in removing it from your anti-virus software vendor. The email always has a Subject line of the name of the file it's sending and the message looks like: >Hi! How are you? > >I send you this file in order to have your advice > >See you later. Thanks Hang in there everyone. Victoria
