The Sun News Saturday July 7, 2001 SURFSIDE BEACH Charles A. Bradfield Charles A. Bradfield, 68, died Thursday, July 5, 2001, at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center, after an illness. He was born Sept. 10, 1932, in Dillon County, a son of the late Frank L. Bradfield and India Rouse Bradfield. He grew up in Dillon and graduated from Clemson University. He was a Navy veteran. He was a member of the Gideons and the Sons of the American Revolution. He was a member of the Surfside Beach Untied Methodist Church. He retired for the Central Intelligence Agency. Survivors include his wife, Helen Bradfield; a daughter, Ellen Davis of St. Augustine, Fla.; two sons, William Bradfield of Orlando, Fla., and David Bradfield of St. Augustine; a sister, Laura Rutledge of Virginia Beach, Va.; a brother, Leslie Bradfield of New Orleans; two stepdaughters, Bobbie Jeanne Palomko of Schenectady, N.Y, and Denise Pascluto of Mountain Home, Ark. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. today at Cooper Funeral Home in Dillon. A graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today in Riverside Cemetery.
