Hi y'all, It's official -- all the "blanks" on the Marion County Wills page are now filled in. It's time for a group hug. Thanks to the efforts of so many of you, Will Books 1 and 2 are now online. That's 258 Wills, I believe, and 235 of those have been added since February of this year! The highest number of Wills added in a single month was 92 for May, followed by 86 in March. Zowie! Every little bit that each of us adds makes our virtual library that much better and I thank ALL of you who have contributed. Special recognition goes to an amazing group of ladies for their extraordinary efforts in getting so many of the Wills transcribed. Between them, these ladies transcribed 193 Wills: Francine Jones, Betty Jo Stewart, Donali Howell, Cynthia Fore Miller, and Roberta Hayes King. It's been a privilege to work with you on our "Wills Project" and a treat to get to know you better. You've done exceptionally fine work and a lot of it!!! Please stand up and take a bow.
