The State (Columbia): Monday, July 9, 2001 Sarah Lee LATTA (--) Services for Sarah Turbeville Lee, 71, will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2001 at Latta Baptist Church, with burial in Magnolia Cemetery directed by Kannaday's Funeral Home in Latta. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday evening, July 10, 2001 at the funeral home in Latta. Memorials may be made to Latta Baptist Church, 202 N. Mrs. Lee died Sunday, July 8, 2001 at McLeod Regional Medical Center in Florence. Mrs. Lee was born in Dillon, July 14, 1929, a daughter of the late John Henry and Blanche Jones Turbeville. A homemaker and a retired bookkeeper, Mrs. Lee was a member of the Dogwood Flower Club and the Latta Baptist Church. She was married to the late Vondell Lee. Surviving are her sons, Tommy (Sue) Lee of Dillon, Keith Lee of Seattle, Washington, Steve (Wanda) Lee of Williamsburg, Va.; daughters, Debbie (Cecil) Collins of Florence, Cathy (Bonell) Arnette of Dillon; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
