The State (Columbia): Saturday, July 21, 2001 Iben Odom BENNETTSVILLE (--) Services for Iben Alexander Odom, 72, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at First Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation is from 7-9 tonight at Whitner-Evans Funeral Home. Mr. Odom died Thursday. Born in Marlboro County, he was a son of the late Charlton Maurice and Ethel Hayes Odom Graham. Surviving are wife, Vernell Taylor Odom; sons, Alexander and Charlton Odom; daughters, Lowall Gibson, Marie Sims and Deloris Barrineau; brother, Willie Odom; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
