Marion Co., FL is the Ocala area near where I grew up. Jefferson Co. is the Tallahassee area. Not overly close to each other. But this caught my attention. Especially with all the common factors to my family. Laban Price put Allen in the Crutchelow school in Marion District, SC in that same Crutchelow Branch area that the earlier deed referred to. Rhoda Goodyear married Absalom Jolly (who also put children in this school) and they moved to Putnam Co., FL (Putnam Co. borders Marion Co. FL) at the same time together with my Laban and are all buried in the same cemetery in the small town of Melrose, FL. William P. Goodyear and his wife, Louisa are also buried in this cemetery. I believe this William is Rhoda's nephew, but am not sure. Just curious. Cathy
