I think that "EX" means "Exhorter", which I suppose is some kind of Preacher. The other abbreviations might be for Deacons, elders, etc. I don't know for sure. I know that James Campbell (1780-1842) was listed in Rev. Simeon Campbell's Diary as an "Exhorter" in the Methodist Church, so that is where I got that from.
