Daniel Margaret Snow Daniel, 85, widow of William Henry Daniel III, died Thursday, July 26, 2001, at Morningside Assisted Living in Georgetown after an illness. She was born June 14, 1916, in Atlanta, a daughter of the late Roop and Effie Almand Snow. She was a homemaker and a member of Mullins First Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Shorter College in Rome, Ga, Survivors include five children, Ellen "BeBe" D. Mason of Pawleys Island, Lynda D. Moates of Winston-Salem, N.C., Nancy Love D. Mottern of Mullins, Jean D. Allen of Florence and William H. "Buck" Daniel IV of Columbia; twelve grandchildren, Snow Mason Knoester, Elizabeth Mason Smith, Dr. Julian L. Mason III, Robert F. Moates II, William D. Moates, Robert E. Mottern III, J. Daniel Mottern, Dr. Margaret D. Allen, Elizabeth H. Allen, Jean A. Allen, William H. Daniel V, and R. Beattie Daniel; and three great-grandchildren. A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at Cedardale Cemetery. Dr. Lewis McCormick and the Rev. Jason Brewer will officiate.
