MULLINS Mary D. Harrelson Mary Dimmery Harrelson, 89, widow of Munson Harrelson, died Thursday, July 26, 2001, at Mullins Nursing Center after an illness. She was born Aug. 24, 1911, in Marion County, a daughter of the late Daniel Hugh Dimmery and Viola Suggs Dimmery. She was a homemaker. She was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church and the Edwards Sunday school class. She was also a member of the WCTU, the Home Demonstration Club and the Scotch Community Club. She was a graduate of Mullins High School. Survivors include a son, Carol M. Harrelson and his wife, Marilyn, of Mullins; two daughters, Patsy J. Taylor and her husband, Harold, of Mullins and Mary Grace Neal and her husband, Lee, of Aiken; a sister, Berlyn Dimmery of Columbia; 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Cox-Collins Funeral Home in Mullins. The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at the chapel of the funeral home. The Revs. Paul Frey and Jason Brewer will officiate. Burial will be in Cedardale Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Macedonia United Methodist Church, 402 N. Main St., Mullins, SC 29574.
