    3. The Sun News MULLINS McRoy Dimmery McRoy Dimmery, 75, widower of Myrtle Bass Dimmery, died Sunday, July 8, 2001, at Marion County Medical Center after an illness. He was born May 18, 1926, in Horry County, a son of the late Daniel Hugee Dimmery and Ella Jane Larrimore Dimmery. He was a retired small engine repairman, a farmer and a World War II Army veteran. He also was a member of the American Legion Post 89 and Woodlawn Park Baptist Church. Survivors include three sons, LeRoy Dimmery and his wife, Vivian, and Wayne Dimmery and his wife, Sabrina, both of Mullins, and Eldon Ray Dimmery and his wife, Pat, of Nichols; three daughters, Peggy Floyd and her husband, Lavern, and Willa Dean Harrington, both of Mullins, and Linda Belle Sarvis of Nichols; two sisters, Mary D. Harrelson of Mullins and Berlyn Dimmery of Columbia; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Ronnie G. Dimmery. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at the chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home in Mullins. The Revs. Glenn Brown and Hoyt King will officiate. Burial will be in Devotion Gardens Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Woodlawn
