This covers all the known descendants of Osborne Lane up through ca 1880 (and 1910 in some cases). There were some "new" Lanes that appeared in Marion in 1880 whom I haven't been able to tie in with any of the early families. They need some research. There are also the African-American Lane families listed in 1870, 1880 and 1900 census that need some research. I'll attempt to do something with all of the above at some future date.
