There's a really nasty v*rus going around called badTrans. It would appear that Mr. Forsythe has been hit by it, as have so many poor souls. So far as I know, it does not damage your hard drive or delete any files but it will take every unread email in your In Box and send out a reply without your knowing about it. What makes this one "nasty" is that people who receive these bogus replies also receive the attachment which propagates the v*rus and the attachment, of course, appears to come from a trusted source. NEVER open an attachment, or even an email with an attachment unless you're expecting an email from the sender AND your anti-virus software has the latest updates. (Yeah, yeah, I know but I had to say it.) This will reduce any bogus "replies" to messages posted to the list and save the poor soul's hard drive from getting filled up with these goofy replies.
