The State (Columbia): Wednesday, June 20, 2001 Betty Causey NICHOLS (--) Services for Betty Montgomery Causey, 64, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 21, 2001, at Floyds United Methodist Church with Danny Wiley officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins. Visitation will be 7-9 this evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Causey, widow of Thomas Lide Causey, died Monday, June 18, 2001. Born January 1, 1937, in Horry Co., she was a daughter of the late Daniel Webster Montgomery and Mary Kate Graham Montgomery. She was a homemaker and a member of Floyds United Methodist Church. Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah Causey Rushing and Eddie Rushing of Nichols, Beth Causey Long and Freddie Long of Loris; brothers, Lorenzo Montgomery of Nichols, Ronald Montgomery of Dillon; sister, Catherine M. Padgett of Mullins; grandchildren, Dee Dee Rushing, Will Rushing, Jennifer Long, Kellie Long; a great grandchild, Summer Thurman.
