Dear List, Charleston Post & Courier, 20 June 2001. Mr. Lloyd Earl Hardee, 67, died Monday, June 18, 2001, at a Marion County hospital after an illness. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 20, 2001, at 4 p.m., from West Marion Baptist Church, directed by RICHARDSON FUNERAL HOME. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery near Aynor. Mr. Hardee was born in Loris, a son of the late Pink Isiah and Flouda Alma Duncan Hardee. He was retired from Southern Verneer of Thomasville, N.C. Surviving are two sons, Lloyd Ricky Hardee and Ritchie Joe Hardee, both of Thomasville; two daughters, Kathy Jones of Florence and Denise H. Turner of Mullins; two brothers, Carl and Maxie Hardee, both of Marion; seven sisters, Augustine Page of Thomasville, Mary Stevens of Monck's Corner, Betty Johnson of Thomasville, Doris Sawyer of Marion, Cindy Childress and Sylvia Collins, both of Thomasville, Judy H.
