Jackson Sr., 66, will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Rogers Funeral Home, with burial in Beaverdam Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 tonight at the funeral home. Mr. Jackson died October 7, 2001. Born in McColl, he was a son of the late Montie Lee and Ophelia Jolly Jackson. Mr. Jackson was a U.S. Navy veteran. Surviving are wife, Betty Graham Jackson of McColl; sons, Gene Jackson Jr. of Gibson, N.C., Johnny Jackson of Laurel Hill, N.C.; brother, David Jackson of Parkton, N.C.; sister, Mildred Sanders of McColl; grandson, Jonathan Jackson.
