Oct 24, 2001 Josephine M. Turbeville FLORENCE -- Josephine Martin Turbeville, 80, died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2001 in a Florence hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 25 in Waters-Powell Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Florence County Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Turbeville was born in Marion County, a daughter of the late Bonney and Ina Martin. She was a member of Florence Baptist Temple and was a homemaker. Surviving are two daughters, Phyllis Stokes of Timmonsville and Betty Jo (Ernest) Gifford of Anderson; four sons, B. Durwood "Son" (Betty) Turbeville, Douglas G. "Buddy" (Betty) Turbeville and Everette D. "Slim" (Angie) Turbeville Jr., all of Florence, and Allen D. (Bonnie) Turbeville of Dovesville; 20 grandchildren; and 35 great-grandchildren.
