James Jackson MARION -- Services for James R. "Bob" Jackson, 71, will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at the Chapel of Richardson Funeral Home with burial in Shiloh United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 this evening at Richardson Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Shiloh United Methodist Church, 3903 West Hwy. 76, Marion SC 29571 or Middle Tyger Community Center, 84 Groce Road, Lyman SC 29365. Mr. Jackson died Friday, October 26, 2001 at Marion County Medical Center after an illness. Born in Bennettsville, he was a son of Margaret McDaniel Jackson and the late James Allan Jackson. Mr. Jackson had retired as a technician from BellSouth Telephone Co. He was a member of Shiloh United Methodist Church and a veteran of the Armed Forces. Surviving are his wife, Pearl R. Jackson of the home; son, Frankie McDaniel of Mullins; daughters, Jill Jackson Smith of Duncan, Jennifer Jackson McBryde of Florence, Janet Jackson Wallace of Marion; brothers, David R. Jackson and William "Bill" A. Jackson, both of Bennettsville; sister, Doris Jackson Wagner of Bennettsville; eight grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother, Hamer L. Jackson and sisters, Margaret Jackson Kirkley and Maxine Jackson Baldwin.
