GALIVANTS FERRY James C. Booth James Charles Booth, 30, of U.S. 501, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. He was born in Conway, a son of Mary Ruth Jordan Mincey and the late Charles William Booth. He was employed with Herrington Septic Tank Services. Survivors, in addition to his mother of Galivants Ferry, include a brother, Grady Nelson Booth of Columbia; and a great-grandmother, Callie Jordan of Conway. The funeral will be at 11 a.m. today at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The Rev. Mack Hutson will officiate. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Melissa Moore Melissa Dawn Alford Moore, 18, of Lawson Drive, died Thursday, Oct. 18, 2001, from injuries suffered in an automobile accident. She was born in Myrtle Beach, a daughter of William Michael Alford and Sharon Yvonne Lewis Alford. Survivors, in addition to her mother and father, both of Conway, include her husband, Danny Glenn "Buddy" Moore II of Conway; a daughter, Aubrey Lee-Ann Moore of Conway; her stepfather, Robert Goff of Conway; two sisters, Summer Marie Alford and Candace Michelle Alford, both of Conway; her paternal grandmother, Pearl Hudson of Conway; and her maternal grandmother, Maggie Lewis of Murrells Inlet. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. The funeral will be at 4:30 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The Rev. Charles Thrower will officiate.
