Does anyone know anything about my ancestors: Thomas Boatwright, b. 1832, married Louisa Wiggins 31 May 1857 in Marion. They were married by Rev. C. D. Rowell according to the Marion Star. Could this be Methodist? I notice that Rowell is a popular name in Marion County. The couple is shown in the Georgetown, 1860, census as having one child, Lavenia Boatwright. Thomas Boatwright was killed during the Civil War at Trevillion Station. I have found Louise Boatwright on a Dec. 1862 Soldiers Relief Fund list. Three children: Lavinia, Julia and Thomas, nephew of Micajah Wiggins. They were heirs of Daniel Wiggins. I found a probate court record appointing Thomas Wiggins guardian of the three children. J. B. Wall is also one of heirs. Court appoints appraisers JW Moyd, Dan'l McKethen, Randolph Smith, WW Mishan and OH Shaw as appraisers, 24 Feb 1875. Land situated on North Santee adjoining lands of J. W. Moyd and James Bourne, TR Sessions and estate of Jayroe. Land laid out for Micajah Wiggins part of a tract of land granted to Lea-- (?) 24 Nov 1764, surveyed 7 Sep 1812. Any suggestions? Louisa, Louise, Lucy (?) Wiggins/Boatwright was my g-grandmother. Please help me find her. Thanks, Fran Could Lucy be a nickname for Louisa? On the 1850 census,
