I know there have to be a number of descendants of John Phillips and his wife Margaret Linton on this list! I descend from their grandson, Isaac Phillips and his wife Alice "Alsey" Eagerton. I am interested in tracing descendants of Isaac. He had 5 children, Ann, b ca 1802 m David Gibson; Frances, b ca 1804 m John Williamson; Phillip L. Phillips, b ca 1806 m ?Julia Ann Davis (this is according to Sellars, but was another Phillip Phillips that may be the one who married Julia Davis); Alice Phillips, b 1808 m William Collins; and Sarah Martha Phillips, b 1812 m Willis R. Munnerlyn in 1832. Can anyone out there contribute some of these descendants? Thanks, Francine Jones

Francine, We have Eagerton and also William Collins in my wife's line. Are the folks you are looking for in the Jeffries Twp, Mars Bluff area of old Marion County (present day Florence County)?. We have started some research on these lines. Don't have much to share yet. I'll post what I have on these lines if anyone is interested.
