GEORGETOWN Henry L. Hanna Henry Lewis Hanna, 76, died Friday Oct. 26, 2001, in a Georgetown hospital. He was born in Florence County, a son of the late Nick Hanna and Bertha Keefe Hanna. He was a lifetime dealer for the Ams Oil Co. and was a Navy veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Nesmith Baptist Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion. He was also a church usher, Sunday school secretary and attended Hemingway High School. He was the former owner of Hanna Engineering. Survivors include his wife, Ida Mae T. Hanna; five sons, Roger Hanna of Hartwood, Va., Nick Hanna of Woodbridge,Va., Rick Hanna of Middlethian, Va., John Hanna of Davidson, Va., and Terry Hanna of Richmond, Va.; two daughters, Alice Hanna of Richmond and Angela Hanna of Atlanta; a brother, Allen Hanna of Hemingway; a sister, Linne H. Bellflowers of Pamplico; a stepson, the Rev. Dale Tanner of Kannapolis, N.C.; a stepdaughter, Debra T. Martin of Georgetown; 12 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Morris Funeral Home in Hemingway. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Nesmith Baptist Church. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
