For what it is worth: I don't have any concrete information on the David Price who has been under discussion on the list recently. That is the problem. I've never seen ANY information about any David Price in connection with the Price family of lower Robeson and Marion Counties. David's name does not appear in the local Price deeds (Robeson nor Marion) or other documents connected to the Price family. While seeking information that would confirm or eliminate any David Price from consideration, it would be well to keep in mind that Robeson was/is a very large county. The northern part of Robeson that bounded on Cumberland County was cut off to make Hoke County. There were families in the northern part of Robeson that had no connection whatever to families near the South Carolina / Marion County border. Of course, there were a few who did. Jo Church Dickerson
