Marguerite Childers MARION -- Services for Marguerite Elizabeth Childers, 84, will be held at 5 p.m. Sunday, October 28, 2001 at Richardson Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends 7-8 this evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Childers died Thursday, October 25, 2001 at home after an illness. Born in Central, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Frances Keister Brown. She had retired from Tuomey Hospital of Sumter and was a Methodist. Mrs. Childers was predeceased by her first husband, John L. Baxley and her second husband, Roland Childers. Surviving are her sons, John L. Baxley Jr. (Linda) of Arlington, Texas, Cleveland Keister Baxley (Cecelia) of Marion, Frank Wilson Baxley of Patuxant River, Md., David Wayne Baxley of Newton, N.C., William Gary Baxley of Marion; brother, William Jennings Brown of Mount Pleasant; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
