COLUMBIA Ann R. Scarboro Ann Royals Scarboro, 79, died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2001. She was born in Conway, a daughter of the late John D. and Frostie Ann Vereen Royals. She was a member of the Fort Jackson Ladies' Golf Association and the First Baptist Church of Columbia. Survivors include her husband, Charlie W. Scarboro; a son, Richard C. "Rick" McNamara of Conway; a brother, Daggett O. Royals of Greenville; a sister, Louise Whittington of Atlanta; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight at Greenlawn Funeral Home in Columbia. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. The Rev. Raymond Timmerman will officiate.
