Hi Jo, Looking at the Elvington - Barfield Cem on the Genweb site I see Artie , wife of Parker but not Parker. Is he indeed buried there ? I have only got the children of Wm Barfield from the 1880 census plus Lewis Gordon, do you know when Minnie was born (the one you identify in the deed book) ? Pardon all the questions but it's hard to follow where everyone lived from here in Va, maybe I need to spend some time at the courthouse. It seems like there were several marriages between the Prices and the Elvingtons so I assumed that they probably lived very near to each other - so much for assumptions !!
