MARION — Mr. Harvey Birdell Perritt, 71, died September 27, 2008, at a Whiteville, NC Hospital after an illness. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 1, 2008, at Richardson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Born in Marion, Mr. Perritt was the son of the late Harvey Arron Perritt and Lessie Mattie Turner Perritt. He was a member of Centenary Methodist Church and worked for Blumental Mills. Survivors are a son, Andy Perritt and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the Harvey B.
