SPARTANBURG | Mr. Joseph Jennings Graham, 78, formerly of Columbia, died Saturday, August 30, 2008, at his daughter's home in Spartanburg after an illness. Mr. Graham was born July 25, 1930 in Horry County, South Carolina, a son of the late Curtis A. and Fronnie Skipper Graham. He was a retired carpenter and electrician. Mr. Graham was a member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers and the Carpenter Workers Union. He served in the S.C. National Guard for eight years. He was also a Mason. Mr. Graham was a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Cayce. Surviving Mr. Graham are his wife, Irene Owens Graham of Columbia; three daughters, Susan Graham Case and her husband, Robert, of Spartanburg; Jodie Faircloth and her husband, Robert of Columbia, and Marsha Miller of Columbia; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; a brother, Jack C. Graham and his wife, Rozena, of Mullins; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 4 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2008 in Antioch Baptist Church in Galivants Ferry. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery, directed by Cox-Collins Funeral Home of Mullins. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service, from 3 until 4 p.m., in the Church Fellowship Hall.
