BRITTONS NECK — Blanche R. Richardson, 92, died Thursday, September 11, 2008 in High Point, NC after an extended illness. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 14, at Piney Grove Baptist Church, burial will follow at Nebo Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 13, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Richardson Funeral Home in Marion. Mrs. Richardson was born in Marion County, a daughter of the late Frank and Lula Richardson. She was retired from Wellman Combing Company and was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church. Surviving are her sons; Billy Richardson and his wife Jean, of Tyrone, GA, Jerry Richardson and his wife, Nancy, of Florence; daughters, Bobbie Godbolt and her husband, George, of High Point, NC, Betty York and her husband Wayne of Fernandina Beach, FL; a sister, Dorothy Larrimore of Brittons Neck; eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. **************Psssst...Have you heard the news?
