MULLINS — Mr. Joseph Lee Smith, 63, died Thursday, July 30, 2009 at home. He was the son of Joe Smith and the late Sallie Mills Smith. He retired from AVM, Mullins and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Mr. Smith is survived by two daughters, Sonya Foster and her husband, Ken Foster, Tonya Martin and her husband, DuRant Martin; five grandchildren, Lindsay Martin, Ashley Martin, Kristen Martin, Jonathan Martin and Jennifer Wilson. Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, August 1, 2009 at Red Hill Cemetery in Mullins. Memorials may be made to the Marion County Humane Society, P.O. Box 932, Marion, SC 29571.
