LUGOFF - Funeral service with military honors for MSGT Walker Douglas Coleman, U.S. Air Force (Ret.), 65, will be held Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. He served as a Municipal Court Judge in Elgin for 6 years. He was a member of the American Legion and VFW. Mr. Coleman was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church and enjoyed singing and traveling. Surviving are his children, Douglas T. Coleman of St. Louis, Mo., Dawn Wisnasky of Mascoutah, Ill., and Dianna (Jason) Van-Eton of O’Fallon, Ill.; stepchildren, David Jordan of West Columbia, Jeremy Smith of Columbia, and Mike Smith of Ridgeway; sister, E.L. Marty Monroe (Ron) of West Columbia; grandchildren, Danielle and Dustin Wisnasky, and Dallas Van-Eton; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Hershel, George, Maxie, S.J., and Charlie Martin; and sister, Elizabeth Porter.
