NEWBERRY - Molly D. Lindsay, 67, of 1941 McHardy St., Newberry, SC, died April 2, 2009, at her residence. Ms Lindsay was born on January 2, 1942, in Newberry the daughter of John B. and Atlee Davis Lindsay. She was a retired teacher having taught at Pee Dee Academy, Socastee High School, Piedmont Technical College and in two Newberry County High Schools. She was a lifetime member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. She is survived by her parents of Newberry; a daughter and her husband, Suzy G. and Randall Fowler of Nichols; a son and his wife, Jack A. II and Cynthia Grainger of Nichols; her brother and his wife, Johnny B. and Kathy Lindsay of Newberry; 3 grandchildren, Hunter Fowler, Jennifer Grainger, and Kayla Grainger; her mother-in-law, Hazel Grainger of Nichols; and a niece and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer by the Rev. Caldwell Day. Interment will be in Rosemont Cemetery. The family is at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Johnny Lindsay, 2113 Cherry Laurel Drive, Newberry, and will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday at the Whitaker Funeral Home.
