LAKE VIEW — Ricky McArthur, 52, died Monday, April 13, 2009, at Marion County Medical Center after a brief illness. Mr. McArthur was born in Marion County, son of Ruby S. McArthur and the late C.W. McArthur. Surviving are: his wife, Crystal Bowman McArthur of the home; his mother, Mrs. Ruby S. McArthur of Lake View; sons, Chuck McArthur of Wilmington, N.C., Mike Schaeffer of Florence and Johnathan Schaeffer of Marion; daughters, Tonya Hardee of Loris, Stacey Schaeffer and Kristin May Schaeffer of Lake View. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, 2009, at the home, 2737 Highway #41, Lake View.
