Mrs. Wanda Lynn Pyrlik, age 63, formerly of West Ashley, passed away Monday, March 30, 2009 at a local hospital. Friends and family of Mrs. Pyrlik are invited to attend her memorial service on Friday, April 3, 2009 at 3:00 pm at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406. The family will be receiving guests at the funeral home from 2:00 pm until the time of service on Friday afternoon. Mrs. Wanda Lynn Cypress Pyrlik was born on January 16, 1946 in Marion, SC to the late Zack Grise and Jane Moore Schlarb. She was a bartender for many years at a couple of taverns, Perry's and Josh's, in West Ashley. She was an avid bowler for many years at Triangle Lanes in North Charleston. She loved country music, the beach, the ocean and most of all, her family. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family. Survivors include her mother, Jane Schlarb, of North Augusta, GA; four daughters, Cindy Myers of Fayetteville, AR, Theresa Frangos, and her husband Gregg, Lois Elizabeth Jennings, Ramona Jennings Wyndham, and her husband Bobby, all of West Ashley and one son, Kenneth James Sprecher of Arkansas; an adopted daughter, Christine McAnany of West Ashley; one son-in-law, Michael Potts of West Ashley; one sister-in-law, Cassie Cypress of Augusta, GA; one sister, Annette Seigler, and her husband Rick, of North Augusta, SC; eighteen grandchildren and one great-grandchild; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late John Roger Pyrlik, one daughter, the late Janie Marlene Jennings and one grandson, the late Robert Wyndham, III.
