Annette Byrd, 54, died Monday, December 22, 2008 at McLeod Medical Center after an illness. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, December 26, at Reedy Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery, directed by Richardson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 2:00-3:00 pm at the Church Fellowship Hall. Ms. Byrd was born in Marion, a daughter of the late Rowland Byrd and Mae Belle Demery Byrd. She was a member of Reedy Creek Baptist Church of Marion and graduate of Myrtle Beach high school. Surviving are her brother, Rowland Byrd, Jr. and his wife Garnette of Conway; sisters, Jean Byrd Tyler of Marion, and Dianne Byrd Whitley and her husband, Randy, of Myrtle Beach; as well as many nieces and nephews.
