MULLINS — Elton Rogers, 76, died Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Sunny Acres Nursing Home after an illness. Services will be announced by Richardson Funeral Home. Mr. Rogers was born in Dillon County, a son of the late Charles and Gossie Pittman Rogers. He is also predeceased by two daughters, Shawn Denise Rogers and Sharon Dianne Rogers. Mr. Rogers was a long distance truck driver for 28 years and a member of Mullins-Marion Freewill Baptist Church. Surviving are his wife, Barbara Snipes Rogers of Mullins; a son, Timothy E. Rogers and his wife, Jeanne, of Mullins; a sister, Shirley Carter of Hartsville; and 2 grandchildren, Blake Rogers, member of the US Air Force and Caitlyn Rogers. **************Life should be easier.
