MARION — Jerry Raymond Demery, 55, died Friday, December 5, 2008 after an extended illness. He was born November 21, 1953 in Marion County, a son of the late John Quincy Demery and the late Mary Easter Cooper Demery. Surviving Jerry are: his Sisters and Brother: Idora Cooper of Florence, Geraldine Stroud of Lake View, Jimmy Demery and his wife Mary of Latta and Landis Turner and her husband Gerald Wayne of Pamplico; a special friend, Mack McLellan; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Monday, December 8 at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home, with Rev. Wendell Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Red Hill Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
