MULLINS — Danny Ray Johnson, 50, died Friday, March 3, 2006. Memorial services will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 5, 2006, at the Chapel of Cox-Collins Funeral Home. Danny was born September 9, 1955, in Marion County, a son of Ruby Elvis Johnson and the late Aubrey C. Johnson. He was a computer systems analyst. He was a graduate of Mullins High School and Florence-Darlington Technical College. Surviving Danny are his mother, Ruby Elvis Johnson of Mullins; his brothers and sisters, Leon E. Johnson and his wife, Mary, of Fork, Shelby Johnson Hayes and her husband, Leon Garrett, of Lake View, Lenetta Johnson Rogers and her husband, Hartsell, of Fork, and Benny Johnson of Mullins; his nieces and nephews, Tony L. Johnson, Mary L. Odom, Brandy Hayes Dales, Micah Chaddie Hayes, Catherine Nicole “Nikki” Bailey, Baron E. Johnson and Derek S. Johnson; and seven great-nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Sunday afternoon from 3 til 4 p.m. prior to the service at Cox-Collins Funeral Home.
