FLORENCE - John Milton Tyndall, Jr., 83, died Tuesday, March 14, 2006, in a Florence hospital after an illness. Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Thursday, March 16, 2006, in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by WATERS-POWELL FUNERAL HOME. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery. He was born in Marion County, SC, a son of the late John Milton and Essie Missouri Blackburn Tyndall. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, having served during World War II. He was retired from Horne Ford of Florence after 40 years as parts manager. Mr. Tyndall was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, York Rite Body of Shriners, and the Order of the Eastern Star. He was predeceased by his son, John Milton Tyndall, III. Survivors include his wife, Mary Kemmerlin Tyndall of the home; a sister, Sarah Tyndall Lane of Marion; two sisters-in-law, Carol (Charles) Marsh of Myrtle Beach and Marjorie C.
