    2. LORIS | Lester J. Richardson, age 48, son of the late Major Richardson and Mollie Watts Richardson, passed away Sunday, Mar. 12, 2006, at Conway Medical Center with his family by his side. Mr. Richardson was born in Marion County on Sept. 22. 1957. He moved to Horry County when he was a small child and lived here for the rest of his life. He was a humble man who loved spending time with his family and friends. He was very kind to children and loved it when ever they came to see him. He was very dedicated to his children, nieces and nephews. Mr. Richardson was retired due to medical problems and loved to spend his time with his family and fishing. He was a kind hearted man and will be dearly missed by all. In addition to his parents, Mr. Richardson is predeceased by two brothers, Ed Richardson and Lloyd Richardson and one sister, Sylvia Jones. He is survived by one son, Gregory Richardson, of Charleston; one stepson, Allen Poole of Virginia; two stepdaughters, Chasity Foster and her husband, Chris, of Georgia and Shawna Poole of Texas; two brothers, Leonard Richardson of North Carolina and Wendell Richardson of Loris; seven sisters, Ethel Fowler and husband, Tommy, of Loris, Ruby Gerald of Conway, Janice Jordan and husband, Allen, of Conway, Elise Causey and husband, Donald Sr., of Loris, Jackie Strickland and husband, Bobby, of Loris, Judy Richardson of Conway and Cynthia Richardson and her friend, Russ Kiester, of Conway; one grandson; one step-grandson, Little Jack and one step-granddaughter, Shayln. Funeral services are 4 p.m., Wednesday, Mar. 15, 2006, in the Chapel at Palmetto Funeral Home with the Rev. Mike Gerald officiating. Burial, directed by Palmetto Funeral Home, will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, Mar. 14, 2006, at the funeral home. All food and drink for the family should be delivered to Palmetto Fellowship Hall located directly behind Palmetto Funeral Home, Hwy 378, Conway, which is where the family will be accepting friends and relatives beginning at 4 p.m., Tuesday, Mar. 14, 2006. Palmetto Funeral Home is honored to serve the Richardson family.
